Doushin Kokeshi

Doushin - Child's soul - the pure innocence inspired the doll's creator, Master Fujikawa. Her beautifully painted kimono features the early harbinger of spring in Japan, the plum blossom, in white and red. A hand-painted masterpiece, like all the kokeshi from the workshop of Master Fujikawa, which won a special prize from the Prime Minister of Japan.
